Vintage wooden spool of silk thread.
Appears to be about 1/2 to 3/4 full, i do not know how much thread is on the spool.
This is a Silvery Taupe

Not tested for machine sewing.
This is a true antique/vintage spool of thread, frequently used in hand sewing applications as well as fly fishing.  I am not an expert, and have not tested it for strength, and cannot guarantee how it will perform should you wish to use it for something other than decorative use.
